JoydeviantART: Current Position: I'm currently a part of the Creative Team, which takes care of the creative aspects of deviantART (such as devWEAR). My role involves putting some of the awesome news article designs into fully functional HTML and CSS for your viewing pleasure ( example )! 2008: I had another (unfortunately short) stint as a Message Network Administrator at the beginning of the year. Joined the Creative Team in December. 2007: Dropped off the radar a little bit, due to staying with `zetab for six months in the UK. 2006: Joined the Message Network Team in April. Left in October due to some time restraints and life stresses. 2005: Became a senior member, I'm guessing for my contributions to the community. As for what those contributions were, don't ask. We aren't told the reasons as to why we become senior members! ;) 2002 - 2004: Joined deviantART and established myself within the community, including organising and attending deviantART Meets.Personal: I'm an Australian living in the UK with the lovely (and gorgeous) `zetab until 2010. I'm here experiencing life in a Cornish town. I have a passion for a variety of arts and I have always been creative from a very young age. Just by browsing my gallery you will see for yourself that I am a varied artist and am always willing to try something new. My main artistic focus, however, is photography and web design. Everything I know is completely self taught, which makes me feel somewhat proud of myself. That's right guys. The awesomeness that is deviantART have just launched portfolios to all those beta testers out there. "What are portfolios?" I hear you ask! Well, why don't you find out for yourself!
I've started my own portfolio, but there isn't much to see yet, except a little photography. But there are plenty to see in the news article! So go get your portfolio on.

Life has been hectic but I'm alive, so that's all that matters. Haven't really created anything new in terms of art or design, only a little photography. But I do have some CSS/journal skins in the planning stages so keep your eyes peeled for those coming to a gallery near you (that would be my gallery!).

They're hard, aren't they? Especially when you're on a road with a steep camber, and then you have to slam your foot from accelerate to brake.
You'll get it in no time though, hun. I'm sure of it.
We'll have to see about the car — it's a bit more cumbersome than I'm used to, and I get the feeling that getting it in and out of the drive without scratching her new one would just be asking for trouble! Maybe I won't be going anywhere far for a while yet!

Had my first ten hours, in two-hour blocks. Then had my brother's ten hours, because he didn't feel he was ready for it. Bought another ten just recently to lead me up to my exam, and then I'll just have a few more separate ones in the lead-up to the test.
I just have a two-week gap inbetween though, where I'm away in Oiyerlund, so my theory should be happening just after then!
Reversing's a bit of a pain, isn't it? All cars should just keep on going forwards!
Now remains the question of which car I'll be driving when I pass — Mum fired up her old one... Well, almost. The battery had run dry.
Haven't booked either yet, but I really need to get on with booking the theory. It's just been havoc with that, and trying to get my Student finance sorted.
But I think my teacher'll be putting me in for my test shortly after I do the theory! I'm scared!

i was wondering about something:
i tried fiddling with CSS, and i basically wanted your message centre CSS, except in white, red, black, and gray
so after a few hours of figureing out what went where, i thought i had finally got it, but somethings wrong with the sidebar. idk which part of the code i missed, but the sidebar was supposed to match the bottom right corner, like in yours, but it doesnt o_O. it just continues as the same color as the main journal. could you take a look at it? what i got is on my main page
