Artist's Comments

Here is one of the photos I took on our trip to Newquay last week. Both nights had lovely sunsets (although the first night was the best). I took this on the second night. Something pretty simple really.

I also found a new appreciation for this type of photography. I discovered how difficult it is to actually get a long exposure shot on the beach. I didn't really get one that I was satisfied with, besides this one, which I'm not really 100% satisfied with either.

The colours are showing a little more saturated than they should, sorry about that. I'm too lazy to fix it at the moment though :giggle:

Exceptional, Nyssa. I can't decide, for a moment, whether this is water, or a sea of drifting clouds. Very otherwordly

This is really beautiful. The slow shutter speed was perfect for this shot and combined with the color gives it a moody, romantic feel. The placement of the rocks in the frame is just perfect to bring the whole thing together. Beautifully done.
