The Story

=EpharGy chose this from my photoblog to be submitted to dA. Thanks for choosing =P

This one is from the day Zeta and I went to Lydford Gorge for a few hours. We walked the entire length of the Gorge and took quite a few photos. I'm glad I had the ND filter for a lot of the photography, though I found it was difficult to keep taking photos when and where I wanted since there were quite a few people there. Still, it was a lovely place. Hope we can go there again when I go back to England and perhaps spend some more time there, with new cameras too!

Here's some information about Lydford Gorge:

  • Lydford Gorge is 1½ miles long

  • Woodland trails through a deep-cut ravine alongside the river Lyd

  • Thunderous 30 metre Whitelady waterfall

  • 'Walk the plank' over the Devil's Cauldron whirlpools

  • Lush oak woodland with abundant wildlife and wild flowers

"Walking in the gorge is strenuous. It is extremely rugged, with uneven surfaces, slippery paths and vertical drops. Walking boots are essential. It is vital that children are supervised at all times. Unsuitable for visitors with heart complaints or walking difficulties and very young children."

amazing work, as usual. :) the greens are so vibrant, and the image is so sharp (except for the water, which is perfectly smooth and not over or under exposed...)

Somehow please make them sink so far into those wet eyes.
The green makes me feel happy inside.
The water almost likes like a misty smoke. Love the colours.
