The Subject & Story
This dragonfly caught my eye because I could see from a distance it was doing something. Then I realized "Oh, it's eating!". So, I took photos of it. Lots of photos. I think it took about half an hour to eat whatever it was eating.
Tip: Want to take photos of dragonflies? Take them when they're eating or have just eaten. They don't budge (unless you accidently touch them with your camera like I did
).
There is another photo at my photoblog of the same dragonfly, just after it had finished. Cute no?
Location: My backyard
Camera & Settings: Canon PowerShot S3 IS: 1/500 second, f/2.7, ISO 80.
Post Processing: Photoshop CS2: Resize and crop, curves, some sharpening, contrast.
