Took this on Thursday while I was in Adelaide. ~dreamheaven, =EpharGy and myself went to the Botanic Gardens and the rose garden was our last stop (let's just say I wanted to actually go here secretly for the rose garden!).
I think this is one of my favourites, though I did get a few nice ones. Yes, that means you may see another one or two.
Dedicated to someone lovely! But I won't say who.

I hope you do submit some of the other rose shots (amongst others) if i can remember correctly you had a few great ones to show on your viewfinder in Cocolate.
The water droplets are so subtle and beautiful and the pink color is just gorgeous. I love how close you are so the whole picture is rose. :3 Amazing. <3

so soft indeed. it almost looks like it could have been made out of some kind of super fine material, like fine woven cotton. maybe a handkerchief laid down gently and this is how it fell, so naturally. maybe i make no sense though. i love the lighting on this and the focus is spot on
this is a keeper nyssa

First of all, I just want to say that you beat me hands down at taking photos of roses. I've tried but with a lot less better results. It's easier said than done in my books!
True to say there are quite a few rose shots floating around dA, but I'm really drawn to this one. I love the spiral effect of the petals, how tightly folded they are near the centre yet spread out around the edge creating space, but mostly certainly not empty space with the soft texture.
I looked to see if you mentioned cropping it so since you didn't I assume that the composition is as is which is lovely. The colours are so soft and the awesome lighting enhances everything much more. It's such a delicate looking shot and the word purity comes to mind every time I look at it. Beautiful and captivating yet innocent and pure. Lovely.
The more I look at this, it seems like something you might see on a card with lot of white space. It certainly is one of my favourite flower shots of yours that made my jaw drop when I first saw it. Beautiful.

I agree with Kym, it's as though it is a bunch of tissues arranged into a rose, so soft and delicate I can't stop looking at it! Thanks for sharing it with us all , Nyssa
You really are talented with a camera, I can't wait to see more!
