It has also been adapted by Homelands Tour. Well, I showed a small preview in my recent journal but I thought I would share a full preview. Sorry about the quality but a resize was in order to get an overall idea... and the original was pretty big. So, what do we have? 1. Logo created by =monographic and further developed by me for this 2. CSS rollovers 3. Content area 4. A small sidebar area underneath the navbar. Not sure what is going there... haven't thought of that yet (I may move latest work there to remove some excess space) 5. All images (with the exception of some, naturally) enlarge with the help of Lightbox JS 2 <3 6. CSS curved corners 7. They're sites I frequent (deviantart.com, last.fm, flickr.com, dreamstime.com, sxc.hu, caedes.net) 8. Valid XHTML 1.0 transitional. Currently still working on validating the CSS. I'm not happy with something... the space. It's fine on smaller resolutions but since I use 1280x1024, there is a lot of space over to the righthand side. I'm generally pretty happy with everything since I wanted a minimal, lacking-of-fancy-graphics type of design to cut down loading time for everyone. I also went with something a little darker than usual. White is usually my thing but I've now gone with a blue-grey. The header may be just a bit too busy to suit the rest of it... so I'm considering cutting out the 'vines' and just using the logo and leaf with the ladybird. I think because it's so busy on that part of the design, the rest looks empty... comments? Agree? Disagree? Anyway, looking for comments and suggestions if anyone has any before I go ahead and finish the content and make the site live. |

the leaf on the menu is a nice touch, ties in with the vines and things which i rkn should stay
I love lightbox, tis a handy tool to use for galleries. Are you using the sinlge one, or where there is a "next" "previous" option for each pic?
